Kruttiventi holds nearly 10-point lead among GOP voters.
Kruttiventi not only performs the strongest among the GOP field overall but also has a commanding +9 lead with GOP voters likely to turn out in next year’s jungle primary.
Kruttiventi takes 29% of the vote of likely GOP voters, followed by David Giglio with 20% and Javier Lopez with 11%.
The Trump base drives Kruttiventi’s lead.
Kruttiventi performs best with the President’s base. Among those who identify as a “Trump Republican” Kruttiventi’s lead over Giglio expands to +15 (34-19; Lopez 9).
Among the hardest-core Trump voters – those who say they are Much More of a Trump Republican – Kruttiventi’s advantage balloons to 2:1 (39-19; Lopez 9).
The race is tighter with the smaller group of self-identifying Traditional Republicans (those generally less supportive of President Trump and his policies). This group is tied between Kruttiventi and Giglio at 21% with
